 Emergency Response Coordinator (ERC) Course

SASMA has developed the ERC course in conjunction with the AFL which addresses the fundamentals of injury management for sport.

The ERC course is a 3 hour course which covers the following topics:

 

  • Role of Emergency Response Coordinator
  • On Field Assessment of the Injured Athlete
  • Emergency Planning & Response
  • Transport of the Injured Athlete
  • Concussion Management

 

Cost: $55 per person

Course prerequisites

To receive the full ERC Accreditation participants must have a Provide First Aid certificate or equivalent. This Accreditation lasts for 3 years. Participants who are yet to complete their first aid will receive a certificate of attendance until first aid qualifications have been achieved.

On successful completion of a SASMA ERC course?

All attendees who hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate will be issued with a National Accreditation that is valid for 3 years.
