Level 1 Sports Trainers Courses

 The course you are enrolling in has 2 components: an online theory component and a face to face component.

You will need to complete the online component including the theory assessment prior to attending the face to face component on Sunday 2nd April.

Please note registrations and payments for this course will close 2 weeks out from the face to face component (Monday 21st March)

Benefits of attending the SASMA Level 1 Sports Trainers course are:

Course prerequisites

Current Applied First Aid (HLTFA301B) & CPR certificates.  Can be completed prior to or after the course however accreditation will not be granted until evidence of current certificates has been received.

On successful completion of a SASMA Sports Trainers course

SASMA National Accreditation lasts for 3 years and is issued on successful completion of the course.  
On Successful completion of the SASMA Sports Trainers courses candidates will be eligible to apply for Sports Trainer Membership and insurance through SA Sports Medicine Association and Safeguard insurance.
