Level 2 Sports Trainers Course

The new Level 2 Sports Trainers Course is delivered over two components - ONLINE modules and a ONE-DAY PRACTICAL SESSION and is designed to build upon the skills learnt in the Level 1 Sports Trainers course. This course allows trainers to develop their practical skills and knowledge of injury assessment and management.

The course delivers units including:

Spinal Management
Concussion
Advanced Taping
Advanced Anatomy and Palpating Skills
Advanced Sport Wound Management
An introduction to Sports Massage
Sports Psychology
Sports Nutrition

Date: Sunday 8th February (one day)

Time: 9:30am - 4:30pm (approx)

Venue: SA Sports Institute Complex, 145B Railway Tce, Mile End SA

Cost: $399.00

To finalise your Level 2 Sports Trainers Accreditation Trainers must complete the following:

Declaration of hours (minimum 50 hours as a Level 1 Sports Trainer) - attached.
Hold (or obtain) a current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
Complete the following Sport Integrity Australia Online Modules - click here.
- Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport
- PBTR Harassment and Discrimination
Asthma First Aid for Schools/Sport - click here.
Complete the Level 2 Course - Online Component - sent on registration.
Attend all components of the practical day.
