Further Professional Development

As Sports Medicine is an ever-changing science and the ways in which we manage injuries is constantly changing, it is necessary for Sports Trainers to continually learn and keep their skills up to date.

Accredited Sports Trainers are required to attend education sessions over the three years of their current accreditation to demonstrate they are keeping up to date with the latest techniques, methods and knowledge.

Below are a range of courses run by SASMA members and partner organisations. These are suitable for further and are great sessions for anyone with an interest in sports training, sports science and sports medicine. The workshops are targeted at people involved in sport at all levels.
