Inviting the SA sporting community to join us this March for a Community Concussion Workshop, being held at the SA Sports Institute. This education is supported by the Government of South Australia through the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing.
This session is ideal for anyone involved with community level sport - sports trainers, players, coaches, parents, committee members and volunteers as well as teachers, administrators and more!
The evening will highlight changes in concussion protocols for community sport, as well as the progression in findings and guidelines since the commencement of SASMA's Community Concussion Program in 2023, and what advancements to look out for in the coming months, and beyond.
Join a range of expert presenters, and gain a better understanding on recognising concussion, the red flags, removal from play, referral to medical professionals, and the important return to play protocols.
