South East Road Show

In the first week of April SASMA went on regional road trip through areas of the South East and Limestone Coast.
Across the 3 days SASMA had the pleasure of:
· Presenting 2 Injury Prevention and Taping workshops to a total of 48 people in Mundulla and Naracoorte. Attendees included players, coaches and trainers from the region.
· Meeting with trainers, coaches and club committees in Bordertown, Mundulla, Naracoorte, Robe, Penola and Mount Gambier.
· Identify areas of weakness / concern where further education would be highly beneficial i.e. concussion management for GP’s and allied health professionals, policy development for clubs etc.
From the success of this trip we were able to identify another region to travel to and as such we will be travelling to the Riverland and Mallee areas in late May where we hope to achieve similar outcomes.
