In 2017 SASMA introduced the inaugural standalone Sports Trainer of the Year Awards, with the winners celebrated at an event at the Stamford Plaza, Adelaide. These Awards recognise the efforts, commitment and overall fantastic job Sports Trainers do at their clubs and associations, as well as with the aim to lift the profile of Sports Trainers within sport.
As a result of the 100+ Sports Trainers in attendance, SASMA is excited to announce the Sports Trainer of the Year Awards will be held again as cocktail function on Saturday February 24, the night before the FAST Conference, at the Stamford Plaza.
This will allow guests, family members, clubs and associations the opportunity to attend and celebrate our Sports Trainers.
Nominations are now open for the following Awards:
- Regional Sports Trainer of the Year
- Metropolitan Sports Trainer of the Year – Sponsored by SPORTSMED∙SA
- Young Sports Trainer of the Year – Sponsored by Wakefield Sports Clinic
