2023 Education Working Party
We are excited to welcome a number of new members for the 2023 EWP, following a strong EOI process, including;
- Mat Prior, Physiotherapist/Lecturer, Council and EWP Chair
- Belinda Wittwer, Podiatrist
- Dr Brett Slarks, Sports Doctor
- Jared Strawbridge, Physiotherapist/Lecturer
- Paul James, Physiotherapist
- Julian Urlings, Physiotherapist
- Holly Chatfield, Nurse Practitioner/Port Lincoln
- Kate Galasch, Dietitian
These new members above join our existing members – Jarrod Hales, Stacey Hardie and Lisa Feleppa.
It is worth reflecting on our role as the SA Sports Medicine Association as we review our achievements throughout the year.
SASMA's role;
- a visible leader
- grow our membership and collaborate with members
- provide clear direction and communication
- provide evidence based expert knowledge to assist government and partners with the aim of improving and supporting a safe environment
- work closely with regional representatives
- promote accessibility, diversity and inclusion and
- provide a multi-disciplinary environment to support our members and those participating in sport and activity
