U18 National Basketball Championships

SA Sports Medicine Association (SASMA) was involved with this year’s U18 National Basketball Championships which were held last week.
The games were played at Wayville and Pasadena and nine of our trainers were assisting at various times throughout the tournament.
The week started with the Vic Metro women stumbling slightly in the group stage, losing one game but they still finished at the top of the ladder and proved their dominance when it counted, defeating QLD South 76-59 in the Grand Final.
The men's Grand Final was a mirror of the women's, with Vic Metro proving too good for Queensland South, 79-51.
We would like to say a big thankyou to our trainers for the amazing work they did throughout the 8 days of Basketball.
