Sports Safety and Risk Management (SSARM), the latest initiative of SASMA was launched last Wednesday, 3 April at an event attended by more than 30 members of the local sporting community.

In previous years SASMA has been running free concussion forums for the community and we are pleased to announce we are back for 2019 to run these across SA! We will continue to run workshops and education sessions on concussion management!
The Awards night was held after the FAST Conference on Saturday February 23 from 5pm – 6pm. And what a success the ceremony was!!
Saturday February 23 saw us welcome over 100 Sports Trainers at our annual FAST Conference.
The Level 1 and Level 2 Sports Trainers Courses for 2019 are already up and running. The first course in Adelaide sold out 2 weeks prior to the course so don’t miss out on this opportunity!
SASMA are excited to announce our Sports Trainer of the Year award Finalists and Long Service Award Recipients
This year SASMA was involved again in the 2019 Santos Tour Down Under (TDU). The Sports Trainers worked on both the Men’s and Women’s Cycling Events assisting the Race Doctors and SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) in the medical coverage for the cyclists.
SASMA have been working hard to get the 2019 courses underway. The calendar is filling up fast and we already have many great events, courses and workshops scheduled.
