Debate on ACL Management: Surgery vs Non-Surgical Management

This session will look at:

  • Evidence and opinion on who can cope without an ACL
  •  Risks of delayed or non-ACL reconstruction
  •  What influences the recommendation of type of ACL reconstruction
  •  Re-injury rates and return to play recommendation post ACL reconstruction
  •  Can we predict who will be a good 'coper' and those who will not

 The session will begin with presentations on the current evidence and guidelines for both ACL surgery and non-surgical management and conclude with a panel discussion.
