The third SASMA Members' Education Session for 2017 is on Injury Recovery. The evening will look at this topic from a multi-discipline approach and cover the following:

  • When does injury recovery begin
  • Criteria used at elite level to progress through the stages of recovery
  • Best practice rehabilitation models focusing on the research
  • The use of gelatin to promote collagen synthesis for injury prevention and tissue repair
  • The latest research on brain function & resilience and how this relates specifically to injury & rehabilitation
